Year-Round
Year-Round cruise lines have at least one dedicated ship that sails from the port of Galveston all year round.
There have been updates in the last few years to create new terminals to accommodate these ships and parking options have improved as well.
Carnival Cruise Line began docking their ship, the Celebration, in Galveston in September of 2000.
The Carnival Dream and the Breeze have been regular ships sailing out of Galveston, and in 2023 the Jubilee made Galveston it's home.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line began sailing out of Galveston with the Rhapsody of the Seas in 2001.
In 2022, a beautiful dedicated Royal Caribbean Terminal was completed and now accommodates the Harmony of the Seas, as well as Voyager of the Seas.
Construction is beginning for a new terminal contracted by MSC Cruise Line!
In November 2025, the MSC Seascape expects to begin year round sailings from Galveston.

Seasonal
Seasonal cruises occur when cruise lines re-position a ship to Galveston for the winter.
When it is too cold to cruise Alaska or Northern Europe, cruise lines will sail the Caribbean sea. Galveston has become a major cruise port for Western Caribbean itineraries.
Disney Cruise Line began sailing from Galveston in 2012 with the Disney Wonder.
The winter sailings usually have itineraries from December to April, including fun Merry Time themed Sailings.
Galveston has enjoyed the Disney Wonder in the past and currently welcomes the Disney Magic.
Princess Cruise Line brought the Ruby Princess to Galveston in December of 2022 and Storyline Travel enjoyed a New Years Cruise on this beautiful ship.
In 2023, The Regal Princess returned to Galveston for the seasonal December to April sailings.
Norwegian Cruise Line brought the beautiful Norwegian Prima to Galveston in 2022.
You can enjoy cruises on the Prima from December to April.
Norwegian cruise Line plans to bring the Viva, Escape and Jade to Galveston.
