As 2023 wraps up, we are enjoying a look back at the wonderful memories we made on our amazing travels.
Storyline Travel is passionate about travel and we bring this passion to our clients as we work diligently to make your travel dreams a reality.
Our travels gave us first-hand experience!
Sailing on the both the Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Equinox gave us a view of both the Edge and the Solstice class ships.
Understanding the differences means we can help clients decide which ship might be a better choice for their next journey.
Some of the differences we were able to see include the ship layouts, the entertainment options, dining experiences and the exclusive Retreat.
We traveled with groups!
Hosting group trips happens several times each year and we enjoy being available during the journey to answer questions and get to know our client travelers.
We welcomed 2023 on board the Ruby Princess during a festive new year's cruise out of Galveston. The group enjoyed a delicious Italian meal together in Sabatini's, one of the specialty restaurants.
The guys enjoyed some time on the pool deck watching football and we all met one night to enjoy one of the talented theater shows.
A second group trip we enjoyed celebrated several March birthdays.
This cruise left from Miami and toured the Eastern Caribbean.
Our hosted dinner was in the beautiful French specialty restaurant, Le Bistro.
We enjoyed the organized dinner service as well as birthday cake and singing for the birthday travelers.
Gathering for theater events or activities on the cruise are dependent on what the group would like to do.
Each group trip has a different personality but the goal is the same: A fun, amazing cruise making lasting memories together.
Traveling isn't always just fun and games!
Travel advisors must continue to learn about changes in the industry in order to provide expert service.
Storyline Travel was able to attend some conferences this year.
In January, there was a hosted conference at Universal Studios where there was some time to explore the parks and resorts in between information sessions where we learned about updates in the industry and met with suppliers who gave us the latest information about their products.
In August, we headed to Nashville and enjoyed time learning business knowledge that helps us better serve our clients at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort.
This conference included a business expo where Storyline Travel can meet many vendors who provide a first hand look at technology, services and products for travel professionals.
Providing the Trip Plans App for our clients is just one example of how conferences can improve our client experience when they work with Storyline Travel!
There are times when a specific supplier will invite travel professionals to experience their product.
We call these FAM (familiarization) trips.
We were invited to join several other travel advisors on the beautiful Avalon Waterways River Cruise, the Envision.
Our cruise included a host from Avalon Waterways, Patrick Ludvigsen, who was on board with us for one-on-one meetings and training sessions.
Patrick was also generally available to answer any questions that came up during the cruise.
In November we were delighted to board the Holland American Line Koningsdam for a Mexican Riviera cruise from San Diego.
We were able to learn more about the history of Holland America Line who celebrated 150 years in 2023!
Our HAL representative was available for one-on-one sessions, conducted several training classes, guided the group on tours of several different staterooms and hosted a delicious Asian dinner in the specialty restaurant Tamarind.
Our travel experience means we can continue to be your expert travel advisor.
Thank you to all our amazing clients who have made 2023 a great year.
Storyline Travel loves working for you!
